Loaded up Rise of the Tomb Raider. Haven't played it in months. Threw everything on Ultra including AA (SSAA 4x) and was still able to pull avg of 66 fps. Image Quality was insane. Certain games like that which I have a good SLI profile I'll activate the second card for extra eye candy, but for the majority of the time, SLI will probably be disabled. A single card is stupid fast for just about any game at 1440p.

No offense but congrats on your $700 space heater/paperweight I've tried SLi with 2 mid-range cards, 2 low-end cards, and 2 high-end cards. Every single time it's been diminishing returns, headaches, issues and just a plain waste of $$$. Get the flagship card, or the step below always and just enjoy that it works, no issues, no extra heat, no extra noise, and no wasted money biggrin.gif

Maybe not clocking to 2Ghz, but I get some high 1800's and low 1900's here and there. But average is probably around 1700.

Check individual core's. 50% can be 2 core / 2 threads maxed out if that's all the game engine uses.

that's me and that's one reason why i skipped the 1080. went from two 980ti, keep same (more or less) fps as i did with 2 980tis in games that actually use sli, and in the ones that didnt i made nice gains. No more nvidia inspector sli bits!!

That's from while playing For Honor. Plus, if it was only maxing out 2 threads and CPU bottlenecking, it wouldn't be 100% GPU. Also at 1440p at 90-160fps. And I'm running stock CPU clocks too, just because I like to keep my temps ultra cool. This system should last as long as this Ti.

Derp. I had afterburner locked to 18 fps....anywho, still tweaking The Division, but i can crank a lot of the effects higher with the card. We may need a few more gens to max out the game unfortunately. Game still looks phenomenal. I forgot how addictive the gameplay can be. Probably will be playing all weekend.

SO. This just happened playing Overwatch with +100/+500. I've never seen artifacting like this if that's even what it is. The game was normal then that green filter effect traveled from top to bottom. When the kill cams cam up it was normal colors but looked as if it had scanlines in it. When I left the game it was back to normal on the main menu. Neither of my other two displays were affected at all. This monitor that the game is on is using the DP to DVI adapter. I'm wondering if that was the cause.

That isn't suppose to be green. Its supposed to look identical to the kill cam footage. Thats why I was like what the hell I've never seen anything like that in my years. I thought it might be the adapter but then it should effecting everything. Maybe blizzard is trolling us like they did with the sombra release and are applying this at random with the Orisa launch coming up in a few days.
