I'd monitor your CPU and GPU usage and see what it's like during gaming. Do you have VSYNC on?

somewhere way back in this thread a guy had all the info on this. Not sure where, but, he even links where you can order these from the good ole USA.

The die? No.

The square around is, which is part of the weight distribution so the die won't crack. smile.gif

Yeah I saw that on nexus. You know what size it is? If I get a copper shim it need to cover the whole area.

Has anyone compared the Ti FE PCB to a TXP PCB to see what's missing around the DVI port? Is it just the DVI port itself or are some additional components also missing? I'm looking at some photos and on the top of the board they look the same. I don't know about the bottom though.

If it was just a matter of soldering on a DVI connector it might be a worthwhile mod for some folks. The BIOS would have to support it also, but I would imagine you could use an aftermarket card BIOS and many already have the DVI ports. Most aftermarket cards have the same voltage controller so BIOSes should be compatible.

Speaking of BIOSes I'm curious what would happen if someone flashed a TitanXP BIOS to a Ti or vice versa. It wouldn't provide any performance value but might teach us a bit more about how these cards work.

It feels to me the FedEx has much lower standards than UPS.

Don't get to excited he is using highly modified EVGA cards on LN2. He was not able to do these modifications on the Titan XP because the board is much more complicated. So far without these modifications on the 1080 ti it has been able to get a graphic score of 11548 on LN2. The Titan XP has a graphic score of 12316 on LN2. These scores are in Time Spy Single card. Not bad for a $700.00 card. thumb.gif

Thank you so much! It`s really important for us ! thumb.gif
How about water block ? Is it fully compatible?
Maybe you can take a few photos ?
And one more question - without backplate is it ok for using 1080ti only with water block?
Thanks.
