I thought the AIB's were gonna be cheaper than the FE's?

Got a link? I don't see anything new on the egg. As for price, it was the 1080 FE that had the upcharge, one of Nvidia's selling points was that the FE would be priced at the same MSRP as AIB cards. so $700, the AIB's will go up from there based on their greed/how worthy they fell they are vs stock founders. I expect hybrid cards to be around $849.99 and watercooled ones approaching $949.99, I just hope things like the CLASSIFIED, HOF, and AMP will be less than $1000 redface.gif

ouch. with the same thermal and/our powr limits and voltage caps. meh. FE is the way to go. Maybe ideally evga FEs, what i should have purchased, just to eliminate the need to hide your thermal mods if an rma is needed.

Hey, Black, make sure your frame limiter in Rivatuner isnt on, either.

What kind of clocks are people seeing on the stock cooler, I've been running +130 core +500 mem the past 2 days but I've just had 2 crashes in The Witcher 3 after it playing fine for a couple of days. The core only sits around 1950-1980mhz , is there a way to tell if it's the core crashing the game or the memory?

+175/+300 has been my stable gaming OC.

Throttling usually settles the clocks in 2000mhz - 2012mhz.

Best to OC the Core & Memory one at a time and test for stability. This way you know which variable is the cause for problem.

I'm really thinking of going ahead and putting my rig underwater. Never done it before. I'm thinking a front 360 rad in my Air 540, and a 240 rad up top. 4930k and 2x 1080Tis in the loop. Is EK considered the best to go with here? Anybody have any pointers or information I can watch/read?

Waterblock works like charm. I am running with no back plate now. Id take a picture but im kinda embarrassed with the way i did my tubes since its only temporary in my setup. Once Microcenter gets more z270i in my 1080 ti will move to my sim pc and ill be putting my titan X back in my main rig.
Do not be shy, take the photo redface.gif

That's a lot of folding @jarble. what do you guess your lifetime earning from folding are? like evga bucks and any other bonuses? I dont know much about it, admittedly.

***Edit: To the guy recomending the best rad fans, which models were they again? i want high flow sp , best cooling please.

Noctua Industrial PWM 3000rpm 140mm or 120mm. I would not run them at 100% though kinda loud. But they move plenty of air at 35% to 40% and a relatively quiet.

Any significant difference in game frame rates?
