What you boosting to 'out of the box' with no overclock, on air?

If you want, try using speedfan to put a fan profile on the scythe so it shuts off when the GPU is at 40C and it ramps up to 100% at 58C. It'll eliminate noise and extend the life of your fans, etc ;D

The bottom 1% or 2% of cards actually won't properly boost to advertised speeds. Hence down-tuned variants on partner cards. Such cards would probably only marginally be within Nvidia's spec.

I've been waiting for hour just to miss it by a dust... tongue.gif

I did manage to get one from Nvidia website at arround 9:15 AM EST (8 hours later) but Its like 100$ more because of the taxe (I'm from quebec)
(how come newegg charge only 5% and Nvidia 15% taxe?)

But I don't care, I needed it ;-)

Those 2 gigabyte gtx970 served me well at 1080p but not at 1440p (predator) I need more power.

Anyone from canada who bought from NVIDIA, its my firs time, how long should be the shipping.

Also I'm going to eventually water-cool it,

I would really like a EK-KIT P280 and a EK-FC Titan X Pascal

But I already have a h110 corsair so I will probably go with EVGA HYBRID Water Cooler. much cheaper.

Is it that much cooler to justifies the price difference.
It will probably be enough for now.

I will post result of my overclock when I received it, I hope I will get a lucky card like my 2x970.

Edit: the evga kit that fit with little cutting is 400-HY-5188-B1 ?
Love that statement, and so true, lol!biggrin.gif

Do consider the first option for cooling if you aren't in a hurry, it's great to have a proper loop.
An aio certainly is cheaper and easier initially, imo a real loop is still worth it in the long run.

I decided to go for the AIO, newegg had it in stock, 5 mouse click and its on the way, (way too easy to make money disappear) I will start with that and see what kind of number i can get of it, I will probably switch to custom loop this summer when outside temps get high and mastercard get low wink.gif

It was a hard choice but my cpu temp is really nice so I see no need to cool it further for now. (4790k at 4.7ghz stock volt, but 4.8 need almost max volt so no real gain to make on cpu)

Plenty on Ebay, but you're paying premium for "in hand ready for dispatch".

Ppl buying, just to sell @ ridiculous prices. I hope they get left with a few, lol.

First 3 that popped up cost:

-999
-950
-845

Normal price = 699

Chancers, like.
