Three Gigabyte 1080ti's left here...$745 shipped, so not too bad of a markup over Newegg...

I lulled when we were speculating the price of the Ti awhile back. I'm eating crow, but for nvidia to release it at such a price and just before vega shows just how much of a threat vega is to them. I wonder how much the Ti's with aftermarket coolers wiil go for?

Well for me, I'm not too worried about the AIB cards...I have my water block sitting and waiting patiently to go on a card, so the FE card is exactly what I need. Looking at the $30 over retail including shipping as a premium...I ordered mine today, and should have it by the end of the week...especially considering what I was planning on spending before we knew the actual MSRP.

If this is in response to folding for a couple days, my two Titan XM's which are overvolted to 1.2 and running 1405/4000 would cost under $10 for the two days my system would be folding. Money is money though tongue.gif

I do know rates vary by place though, but should still be low, unless you have some rediculous kW/h rate.

I remember using three cards playing overwatch for a month added like $40 onto my bill doing 3-12 hour sessions tongue.gif

We are having our monthly Foldathon from Monday 20th - Wednesday 22nd - 12noon EST.  From what i gather, these 1080 Ti are monster GPU's each capable of pumping out in excess of 1 Million Points per day eek.gif .
So with that said, would you consider putting all that power to a good cause for those 2 days? If so, come sign up and fold with us - see attached link.

To get started:

1.Get a passkey (allows for speed bonus) - need a valid email address

I really have no excuse then. I'll see what i can do. I just dropped $700 on card. Whats a few more $$ on the electric bill for a good cause.

Can only do 120 on the gpu. Over that and it crash. But the card hits power limit all the time.

It's also another good way to stability test your card if its overclocked. I can run 1450 in games/benches fine but folding will fail at anything over 1425 with the voltage I use (Titan XM ). Since it's one giant sensitive math simulation, any instability will cause folding to fail or revert to a previous checkpoint.

Guys i need your help. I currently have an msi 980 ti gaming card and i'm planning to upgrade to 1080 ti.The problem is that aftermarket cards here in my coutry will arrive late Aprin early May so i was thinking about buying an FE card. You think it's worth it buying an FE card or just wait 2 months for aftermarket ones? Good thing is i can buy an AIO if i go with FE after 2-3 months.
