NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 229

So.... after about 3 hours and 50+ variations of gpu oc and mem oc. Seems my best combo is 155core 375 mem fan on max. Power limit 120. temp on 90. Highest temp 70 avg 47.4
Timespy 10,048
Fire strike 23,558 which is weird cuz earlier I got 23,723 with 150/350
Fire strike ultra 7519
Fire strike extreme 14,133
Heaven 2560x1440 2062core/5880mem FPS176.2 SCORE 4438 minfps26.3 max fps 360.3
Valley 2560x1440 2062core/5880 mem FPS 126.9 SCORE 5311 min fps 21.7 max fps 256

Not sure if I should be frustrated or content. Putting block on in next two days. How much realistic gains would I see? 2050/2063core and 5880 pretty much max I can get on air. I can get mem to 6000 but doesn't make results any better. If my temps were in 50's on water will it make that much a difference? I'm using afterburner and didn't mess with core voltage as I cannot adjust it. Will adjust core voltage make a difference as well? Hope this helps some of you ocing your card. Only tried one overclock for valley and heaven which was the 155/375 think I can get more out of those with tweaking.

Did you try to dial back to 150/350 and see if you got a higher score again? when pushed to the limit, more Mhz does not always equal a higher score smile.gif

My rig has a ton of QDC3s and every single one of them works, had them over 2 years - possibly slightly longer.

As long as they are not the black ones (even newest batch), koolance one are indeed fine.
The CPC QDC used by EK are not the pretiest one that's for sure, there is some metal version that doesn't look that bad imo (and are compression, not clamp).

Hi. Have any of you tried any AC cooler on a FE 1080Ti? According to AC, a lot of coolers are compatible:

https://www.arctic.ac/de_en/products/cooling/vga.html

But I prefer if someone has tried one, and see temps, noise, vrm temps, etc.

Thanks!

Got a Gigabyte FE for $1250 Canadian dollars locally on launch day which is about $933 USD but that includes 13% tax as the $50 I paid someone to go to other side of city and pick it up for me as I couldn't beg off euro that day before store iclosed.

Store held on to it until my friend got there that evening and it would never been sold out next day. redface.gif
