NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 230

Just going to throw this out there for the crazy people me being one of them. I saw this on a car at the drag strip last time I was there and thought that would be awesome for my loop. Who doesn't want to say they run Nitrous on their computer.

Unfortunately N2O is a gas at atmospheric pressures, so you'd have a tough time running a loop with gas in it.

An alternative is to pressurize the system to a couple of thousand PSI and it'll be a liquid. Not sure how good it is at cooling though.

No idea honestly, but I'm not buying this. I'll wait until Volta Titan and buy that instead.

It is a chambered system you run the N2O through the heat exchanger to drop the temps of the water in your loop. You can also use CO2 which would be a lot cheaper.

I did unfortunately. Started low went high. Then went low again. But only tried one setting for valley and heaven. If I get more out of it during valley or heaven does that mean anything considering it would crash in 3D mark? One bench better than the other?

Ordered EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FE in germany for 633 $ excl vat and incl shipping. Great price, but 1 week shipping time. Well 2 way of cooling: wait for hybrid kit from Evga (next week?) or new water cooling with 280 radiator.

They're available now on nvidia. Just snagged my second one.

Ah, I understand what you're saying. Yeah, that would get a bit costly haha.
