thanks for sharing, even better!

The highest OC i got for now on stock cooler@100% for a complete run of Metro Last Light Redux Benchmark ist +175/+560 which results in 2075-1911MHz core and 6066MHz Memory(nice number).

Check screenshot for details.

Are the drops into the 1900's due to power limit or temp limit?

its not temp limited, temps are below 65°C, cooler at manual 100%. in the screenshot you can see the power limit regulary switching to "1", so i guess power is the main reason for the downclock.

in DOOM the card goes as low as 1936MHz too. So although my card's max overclock is not too bad, it is not possible to keep it above 2000MHz at all times on stock cooler. But i think that is the case for (almost) all FEs. Hope the watercooler will raise the min clock above 2000 and the low power target will not be to much of a bottleneck. I dont want to do the shunt mod, i think i couldnt sleep well with liquid metal on my Ti...

@KedarWolf:
Have you done the shunt mod on your 1080ti or have you just changed the cooler? whats your average tdp at full load?

Here the screen of a couple minutes Doom:

Everyone is complaining about overclocks and I can only get +120 / +350 on mine. This is completely stock voltage and game stable. It has been higher for benchmarks but I don't care about synthetics. I could probably push the memory more as I've had it up to +475 - 500. I'm hoping I can push more once I'm under water but I normally lose the silicon lottery.

If temps are below 65c and it is the power limit; then I'd guess going water wouldn't help?

As soon as power draw nears 300w its downclocking regardless if temp is 20c or 80c

No shunt mod, just EK waterblock and backplate.

I logged GPU-Z but for some reason new version not logging Power Consumption even though it's enabled.

Heaven max settings 4K system setting windowed seems to average around 108% TDP, goes as low as 93, as high as 118, but hovers mostly around 100-114% depending on Heaven scene being rendered while watching GPU-Z.

Added log, might make more sense to someone else. redface.gif

How did you adjust voltage on the 1080 Ti?

I'd like to try that to get a higher OC. Although I don't have much room temp-wise...

Temps will start to throttle on the 1080ti @ 60c, no matter what you have he temp slider set at. It's the way Nvidia designed it. So yes you are temp limited.

well, then you aren't done just yet. You'll be needing that high refresh rate 4k screen now.
