Different CPU though, I'm not sure my graphics score is better, would have to compare. redface.gif

Welp, +642 memory, +152 core is better result. I know with bad ambient temps even on water not to push it more, nice result, though. biggrin.gif 10856

Got 10808 just graphics, not including CPU though. smile.gif

Edit: But yeah, CPU will push graphics up a bit too.

ATTENTION FE owner's on air. Today I did a repasting with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. (Ebay has 5.5gram tubes for $21, btw) Took all of 10 minutes. All you need are two screws off from each side (one black, one silver right by each other), two off right on top by the fan (silver) to take off the window piece, and then remove the 4 spring loaded screws on the bottom. Clean, paste, re-assemble.

Results, long story short, are 4-5c less on idle and 7-8c less on full load. Hell, I only got 3-4 on my cpu, but, the 1080ti loves Kyronaut. So, on Battlefiled One online, Ultra everything with unlocked framerate , in 4k, im getting ~80-90fps @ 59-60c. I have fan profile at 35% until 57c then it goes to 75% (90% at 79c, but it has never gotten close to that).

So, Kryonaut paste and an aggressive (but still not max) fan keeps it where at most I lose 1 turbo bin. Not bad for about $4 worth of thermal paste and 10 minutes time. ZERO reason to get a 3rd party 1080ti, too. None of them will be under 59c on air.

short answer- both. i play battlefield, day of infamy, & rainbow six siege on my 1440/144. everything else on the giant 4k HDR/60.

I can't remember who recommended the Noctua Industrial 3000rpm pmw sp fan but man, oh man, that thing is beast. it alone gave me 3 degress less than a two fan thermaltake push/pull set-up did. then the thermal grizzly and both my gpu and cpu are gaming in the 50s under max 4k loads. And my cpu is at 4.3 from 3.3 and at 1.38v vcore. still running icy now.

I wonder if thermal grizzly would be worth it for me if I used Noctua... Maybe like 1C better lol. Maybe not worth the time to repaste again.

Yeah but aftermarket won't need to sit at 75% fan profile to maintain those sort of temps.

Impressive results though, I have never had anything so significant applying kyronaught to my Titan x's, and 1080s, shaved 2 or so degrees off but nothing significant. Will give it a try I think.
