yeah I dont know what nvidia used for paste, but it was a nice bump for sure. I really love to work with the thermal grizzly, too. It spreads so easily and smoothly.

Really?! You're the first to say that, from what I hear it spreads like half-dried clay. lol

wow. you sure it was kyronaut? b/c it was super easy. spread very thin to all corners in very few strokes, didnt resist or fall over the edge. easy peasy.

Yea it was. But I've personally never used the stuff. rolleyes.gif

Though I'm wondering if it's worth while to get some and redo the tim on my card and my cpu. I have mx-4 on both. smile.gif

I would say kyronaut is in the middle as far as spreading goes. Unless they go on like butter, it is always best to heat up with a hair dryer or run it under hot water. It is workable without heat. My spread before block.. didn't use heat though.

Did some more overclocking, now on the memory, I went up to 500 Mhz + on the memory, but didn't see any gains in Firestrike, so I brought it back to +300 on the memory and ran heaven for a little over 2 hours, extreme preset with 1440p settings

Final results
OVERCLOCKING

+150 on GPU core clock = 2050 mhz stable
+300 on mem core clock = 5805 mhz stable
43c max temp during Unigine Heaven for 2 hours at max preset (EKWB Full block)

FIRESTRIKE RESULTS
21584 in Firestrike overall
29980 Graphics score
14185 Physics score
9312 Combined Score

STABLE AF

How's the default 120% power limit without shunt mod? Something to worry about or an non-issue? (On water)

I have a question for you folks, When the non reference 1080 ti cards will arrive, I plan on playing quantum break after I get one, but can someone do a test or a little benchmark with quantum break ? I prefer to play on 1080p and everything ultra with upscaling turned off obviously and with my gtx 980 ti I get around 40 - 45 fps max, in combat scenes even below 40. Can someone do a test for me on how it plays and performs on a 1080 ti please? Thanks. Important thing is to leave the ugly muddy, blurry upscaling option turned OFF

Oh and please test mafia 3 aswell, thanks
