You're a life saver ! Thats the beginning of the game basically, can I ask you for one more favour? To do a drivethrough through the bayou, you know the swamps during daylight too? Iam liking the results though, it's basically above 100 fps all the time and sometimes it jumps to 125 fps which is just fantastic, can't wait to get my gtx 1080 ti.

Also how about quantum break, with the upscalling turned off it's a killer even for the titanx pascal.

IT'S GREAT. it may even be negligible but supposedly the very best settings would be fast, g-sync on, and frame limiter at 59 (60Hz monitor) or 99(100Hz monitor) or 142(144Hz monitor) or 163 (165 Hz monitor). It's an input lag tweak. very nice settings imo.

Wait what? Gsync and Vsync fast should cancel each other out right? How can they work together to decrease lag? If anything I'd think it would add a touch of it?

nope. you actually wont conflict at all. you could leave fast sync off if you want but testing shows they work better together than independently.

G-Sync works within the monitors refresh rate range. Go over the limit and without a form of limiter like V-Sync, FPS cap etc you will get all those issues you have with a normal panel. So you would want to use V-Sync or FastSync or even FPS limiter there, basically plug that gap at the top end where G-Sync stops doing its magic.

As for the Mafia 3 results, that's great, but there is no comparison with gtx 980 ti in any of the benchmarks, also we don't know how they tested it, for all we know it could be all indoor areas, which have significantly higher framerates.
just never use upscaling, man.

My EK waterblock and backplate arrived yesterday. What a difference it makes to ensure you don't hit the temperature limit. I'm sitting at +160 on the core and +350 for memory. Memory has lots of room and I've had the core up to +175. GPU Core sits between 2062Mhz and 2075Mhz when gaming and benching. Played BF1 for a couple hours last night and it was steady at 2062Mhz. Temperatures hover around 38-40C. I'm running dual 360 rads and also have my 7700K in the loop @ 5.0Ghz with no AVX offset.

This card is a beast. I'm running an ultrawide 3440x1440 (Asus MG348Q) and gaming has never been better with this pairing.

Question for you guys. So playing mass effect on ultra settings on my monitor which is a samsung s34e790c 60Hz I'm getting 90+ fps on 3440x1440. But then I select vsync it locks it at 60 and the game plays smoother. I'm limited to 60 so does anything more than that make the game not as smooth?
