NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 281

I am looking for a custom 1080 Ti < 11" that will fit in my case. My 980 Ti barely fits with a quarter of an inch to spare.

My priority is:
1. Size
2. Performance
3. Noise

Anyone know which ones I can choose from?

EDIT: looks like I found one, EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING...

Edit: looks like you added to your post. CPU is my trusty dusty 4790k OC'd to 4.6GHz. Max usage around 80% in BF1. OCing to 4.8GHz is stable but yields no FPS gain.

It's unlikely that it's my CPU.
than that makes perfect sense. i gave my 4790k to my son and got the King of gaming cpus, the 5775c with that massive 128mb Crystalwell L4 cache. it adds 10-12~fps in 4k, 20~ in qhd, and almost 30 in 1080p over my old 4790k @ 4.8; tested myself. same ram-2400Mhz C-10 dominator Plat and same gpu. It's (L4 cache)beast. It's DEFINITELY my cpu that is giving me the extra frames so for the other guy who asked you are probably right. I was answering for my rig. But I'd be willing to bet you dont even know what a 5775c is, so, good day.

Maybe you shouldn't be so condescending if you dont want people to be salty in return.

Lol, you have tons of room to talk on being condescending. Yeah, I know what the 5775c is. Yeah, I know about its cache. Every benchmark shows dips into 115-120 range for BF1. Maybe they should pick up some 5775c's too and get 20fps more.

they should. my minimums are WAY better than what you posted. That's just sad to handcuff such a good gpu like that.

i'll trust MY OWN EYES over a reviewer, who is usually on an x-99 system anyway, which is even worse for gaming.
You trashed me first, my salt is in retaliation, that and I AM RIGHT and you are basically calling me a liar. Show me a benchmark with a 5775c if you want to "prove" something.
Im sorry your lil cpu isnt meeting your needs. maybe you should just upgrade. It'd cost you a $100 if you sell your $4790k ($250 on ebay will sell that day).

Take that as good advice, or take it as a dig. i dont care, but, you really should just do yourself a favor and slap the best gaming cpu on earth in your board. You even have a z97 for christ's sake!

I have a 1080ti on a 4790k on a z97a.

Now I feel bad...

I think I will be obligated to change it...

seriously I thought my 4790K was more than I need.
