These guys had the 5775c in their test. 7700k won 5 of 7 vs it including minimums.

I've been trying to tell them. They act like it's some crappy lil old chip when really it's not even a year and a half old and beats ryzen and Kaby in gaming. Some people are very easily fooled.

Iam pleased to announce I will be joing this club tomorrow smile.gif It's going to be at least 1 or 2 months before the gigabyte aorus xtreme will even be available, so I decided not to wait any longer and went for the ASUS ROG STRIX GAMING OC version. It's going to set me back for quite a lot of money, but considering all the benchmarks, tests and reviews I read over the past two weeks, it's going to be a huge improvement over 980 ti I have now, almost 2 times the performance. Iam glad I sold the 980 ti last month for quite a good price too, so the set back wasn't as big redface.gif

I've not run into any such issues with 1080 Ti SLI with a 6800K 6 core, pushing 98-99% usage handily in most games at 4K. Crisis 3 even pushed both cards to 100% each.

quick easy fix to that. it just needs to be added to the 3rd party card database manually by copying/pasting one string

Ah, when you said downsample from 4K I read that as you're downscaling from 4K to 1440p, which lead to believe you were having the issue running 4K. My mistake, I should read more carefully next time.

still, though, on a 6800k you wont bottleneck.

Voltage-locked as in even the Afterburner voltage slider won't work? I was assuming all Pascal cards are voltage-locked.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1625653/how-to-get-voltage-slider-in-afterburner-working-on-a-1080-ti/0_20 use the WildCards.zip file.

And read the last few posts in thread.

While I do not own a 6800k, I feel fairly confident in saying the CPU will be holding a pair of Tis back at 2560x1440. They are ridiculously fast at that resolution and that's not even taking into account overclocking.
