I'm not sure how you guys can say you get X frames with SLI. SLI has been piss poor for me. I uninstalled the 2nd card b/c it was pretty much dung imho.

How many of those 100 reviews included a 5775c? a few of them did for sure because i have also been following ryzen news daily and i've seen 5775c shoved down Ryzen's throat over at WCCFtech for the last 2 months. A lot of people know the truth.

remember, the 5775c was buried by intel. most benches dont even include it. But whenever it's broken out, it wins.

In this pic you see 5775c beating 7700k by 10+ fps and way better minimums, resulting in far smoother gameplay.

Why I did not hear about it more?? Looks like OCed (not stock 3,3 Ghz) 5775c is beating every other top CPU in gaming (4790k, 6700k, 7700k) by quite a big margin (10 fps vs 7700k).

Honestly I never head about this CPU. Why it was dumped by Intel?

Also how do tell if your cpu is being bottlenecked?

Yes 2560x1440. You enable DSR in NVCP and you can select the how much you want to use. I think it goes up to 4x of the resolution you're currently using. Then you go into the game and select that resolution or you can do it through GeForce Experience. As for CPU bottlenecking I could tell because my GPU performance was in SLI was at about 60% for each card @ 1440p. Something's not right. Looked at logs and just my hunch, I figured 1440p was too low of a resolution for TWO Tis. Turned to DSR and everything evened out on my GPUs.

Think of it as having Lamborghini Aventador. Driving it on a road where the speed limit is 40mph. The car probably isn't all that comfortable although it will certainly get you to where you want in style. All that power in the V12 is going to waste. Take it to a free way where the limit is upped or better yet a track and the car can actually use that power under the hood. Same thing with resolutions with this amount of GPU power 😀

I've had great SLI performance outside of blown out contrast and flickering in BF1.

I was lucky, because they sold out a few minutes after I ordered it LOL. And where I live there isn't really a huge market for this kind of hardware...

Who confirmed its only the non-OC being released?

The blown out contrast in BF1 is brutal at times. One card for me here on out. I think we have finally hit the point where 1 is enough.

Is your card a 1080Ti FE? Sorry, I cannot see your sig as I'm mobile. If it is, then can you say a custom card is still worth it for watercooling as it removes the potential power limit that one can reach at one point or another?

Yeah and as far as I remember the same behavior (voltage locked) happens on the 1080/1070, right? So I don't follow how the 1080Ti being voltage-locked is a rumor that can warrant that the additional power of partner boards will not affect OC results. @rcfc89 care to elaborate?

Time will tell I guess. From what I have gathered from the 1080ti owners thread which has a few Strix owners and one Auros owner (both 8+8pin) is that they are getting similar clocks as those with reference boards on water with only a 6+8pin. Seems that for now there is a ceiling with the 1080ti's with voltage being locked.

regardless of AIB or not i dont see this card getting more than 2100 only a couple people have. Im on water sli, one fe, one msi fe and 2075 is max whats a AIB on water gonna get 21? maybe 2113 or so? Is that worth the wait and extra money? Id say just get FE and soak it!

I have a Gigabyte 1080 FE. Yes, aftermarket card or wait to flash different BIOS on an FE. smile.gif

Or FE with shunt mod. Even without while running Heaven full run my card doesn't power limit throttle 99% of the time. smile.gif
