Best case scenario. CPU budget is $2k

Preliminary research shows 7700k to be best for rediculous fps @ 1080p

Hi guys
I just installed Block for 1080Ti. I don't know this is a trouble with my card.
When I Fulload I put the ear near the card, there is a small sound inside the card and block, but when in Idie or light work, there is no sound that appears. ( I searched Google, this like Coil Whine?)
I do not know whether this is normal or abnormal with my CARD. Is there anyone like me?

Most likely coil whine which is normal.

Many of us here in the forums have experience with the specific sound of coil whine. If you want to record it and post here you could get some opinions. Do temperatures appear to be normal?

Looking to see if that would reliably feed 180+fps in to the upcoming Asus 240hz 1080p monitor

1080p Graphics settings at minimum, anti-aliasing off, 60Hz screen. Motion blur off. FPS top right.

1080p, settings maxed out, everything as high as it can go. Filmic SMAA maxed as well. Motion blur off.

I think Remedy should have just not released the game with Ultra settings, or they should have called them "Uber" settings and the High settings "Ultra."

Anyways, here's some screenshots with 1080 Ti and 4790K.

Below, you can see the game still looks gorgeous at some settings turned down a little bit.

Nice, for 17 dollars it's literally a steal !
Yep, great game and with upscaling off and a few settings turned down you can achieve above 60 framerate even during heavier combat scenarios. I thought when I get the new card I would be able to max out the game completely, but unfortunately this is not the case as I soon discovered. The optimization was not one of the top priorities of the developer it seems frown.gif Which is a huge shame, because in terms of quality it's right on par with their previous fantastic work, like max payne games and alan wake.

Dunno, the guide I followed included modding it, I guess it gives a few % more power, but not as much as the 8/6 Pin Shunts.
