true, and 90% of the time they run way better than on consoles.

Haha sold out everwhere I'm looking. Guess thats a good thing since I can wait to see what happens with the AIB now instead of just pulling the trigger.

Of course. However, my comment was in reference to discussing the relative merits of SLI... essentially, because so many big PC games are handicapped by console development, SLI support is a crapshoot, and not worth doing if it can be at all avoided.

Do what I did and grab an EVGA card then step up if it's worth it. :-)

Units on Newegg keep going in and out of stock. I just picked up an EVGA 1080 TI FE about twenty minutes ago. I recommend using nowinstock.com to try and catch them before they sell out again.

Good luck i just sold my 1080 SLI and going with one Ti Ive been running SLI for years with no real problems now its a joke. Between DX12 and lack of support on lot of game engines being used not worth it. I find myself playing older games just to enjoy SLI

Exactly BF1 lot of times CPU was limited when in middle or towards end of match on 64 players with lot of destruction so annoying. I play 1440/165hz and even with high 140-165fps just didn't feel right even with gsync when CPU load was high.

That's my plan as well. I'm going to upgrade if I feel like it's worth it. I'm EVGA or bust when it comes to buying graphic cards.

I didn't even know EVGA offered step-up for the same series of card. I will probably be scoping out an EVGA FE on newegg then and possibly returning or selling my Nvidia FE if/when it finally gets here.

Worst case scenario for me, the card never comes out of backorder. I'll cancel it when the non-FE cards come out in a few weeks. Damn, i hate waiting....mad.gif
