the first crysis was the last and arguably the PC games ever made

I will try this one out, I think the game looks ******* fantastic, a bit rough around the edges, but that's expected from a 10 year old game, still holds even to this date in terms of some of graphical effects and so on. I read about the blackfires ultimate mod and it basically changes the lighting and adds a bit of paralax occlusion. I will try it out nonetheless to see the difference. Thanks for the tip

Don't think it looks that impressive personally. rolleyes.gif

Battlefield 1 looks better imo.

Yeah, you're comparing a 10 year old game to a new game biggrin.gif

Yep, exactly, crysis still holds its ground after all those years.

Hmm you could be onto something here, I remember having a core 2 duo processor and the game ran reasonably well with the graphic cards that were available back then...Should I emulate my quad core to dual core just to see if it fixes the performance?

Try running DDU and clearing out your display driver then clean installing.

I'm really liking this Strix BIOS, see no need to try others. smile.gif

Mate, Wildland is known for ABSOLUTELTY BARBARIC optimalization since beta. This also Ubi game. It is one of the worst optimized games ever.

Even in the division at 1440p with 980Ti I was getting around 70-80 fps I think (was long ago, but for SURE much more than 60).

Speaking of which, I tried installing ARK again, just for the lolz. 1440p, Epic everything, 40fps (+weird input lag). I think ARK wins the unoptimized piece of garbage award.
