DOOM, Crysis 3, Overwatch, League...

100% fan speed, and my case has excellent airflow. Fan profile goes up to 100% fan speed when my gpu hits 50C. biggrin.gif

Most likely during the summer it will hit 65C max. Heh, I havent even taken her apart to put on some arctic silver ceramic on it. Should lower temps by around 5C give or take.

Flashing back to the stock FE bios. The others didn't do anything but gimp my fan rpms or make ports on the card not function anymore. Not a fault of the bioses, they did what they're designed for for their respective cards. I feel confident that the gigabyte one would've been best for my particular card, but the VRM changes they made to it didn't prove to do what I'd hopped. Kinda contemplating selling my card and getting a Gigabyte one now. Hmmm... rolleyes.gif

Really makes me wanna buy one and see how it runs. Would the hybrid cooler fit the PCB like it does with the reference? I'd guess not... rolleyes.gif
i've had three hybrids in a row but if it's on air but not throttling... that's all that matter. folks are hitting over 2ghz at the "stock" oc with fan curves in the 60sc, and are reporting no thermal/power throttling. So this dude may even take voltage... thumb.gif

That's an option for sure, but I recall someone saying they wouldn't allow FE cards to step up to AIB, if that is NOT the case then yea, I can and probably will do that.

Here, the 5775c handily beats the 7700k in most of the tests both at stock and OC speeds, with the 7700k having a 500-800mhz clock lead over the 5775c

EDIT:
Another one:
https://www.purepc.pl/pamieci_ram/test_ddr3_vs_ddr4_jakie_pamieci_ram_wybrac_do_intel_skylake?page=0,18
The only game where the 7700k beats the 5775c is Crysis 3.
For Starcraft 2 i wish make upgrade my CPU.
1080Ti definitely will not become a limitation.
But these tests confused me, until now I looked at Kaby Lake 7700k 7600k and 7350k, and waited 7740k and 7640k.
But...

So where is the truth? Kaby or Broadwell?

New MSI afterburner available, apparently all 1080 Ti should be unlocked.
