I don't know about that (despite owning 2 of them), but "good enough" that's for sure.

The FE cooler is crap. That's what you are getting out of the "non-reference" designs, is something closer to water-cooled non-thermal throttled performance, but the chip itself going back to 1080 appears not to benefit from 1.21 Gigawatts of power provision in any way shape or form until you are pouring LN2 on it.

So glad I waited now. Gonna grab me one of those and an EVO to finally replace my old ass Rasa block. Time to refresh my entire loop.

I will be doing a follow up video tomorrow.

This cooler runs 8C cooler than Titan XP and it's essentially the same card. Looks elegant, and expels all of the heat from the case, sexy illuminated Geforce GTX, man I was being funny but honestly, FE IS SUPREME.

But I will be trying to flash one when something suitable comes along. From what I can gather, wizard and co at techpowerup are uploading the BIOSes as they review the cards.

So, when you see a new BIOS pop up on there, expect to see their review shortly after .

I have an AIO, the x41.

II shouldn't say "crap". It is designed well to do something different than most users expect. That is to be packed into tight spaces and not be able to dump its heat anywhere by the rear.

As the non-reference card show, you can get 20C+ reductions in temp and corresponding higher and more stable clocks a lot less noise with a non-blower fan.

well, yeah, but mine is happiest at 1974 or 1961 :/, uggh. But, it's still a beastly card even dogging it up. been on BF1 for the last 2-3 hours gaming at ~135-145 fps in ultra 1440p @ 65c. Pretty solid.

Hey y'all so, Vray released a benchmark app.. It's perfect for gpu benchmarking. Think cinebench for gpus.

https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAYBENCH

I did it with dual FEs, with and without sli on. Normally with gpu rendering you turn SLI off.

Since my score was exactly the same with and without it off, I am concerned that the bench only sees one GPU.. I wonder if any of you out there with a single card wouldn't mind running this bench? Just trying to see if the bench sees multiple cards or not.

My results are attached

Thanks!!

EDIT: After doing some scoreboard reading, it definitely scales to multiple gpus. No worry with SLI enabled, it ignores it.

Same here (1974), which vendor's FE? (aka: which BIOS)?

Anything beyond that so far and it eventually crashes while gaming

it's the Nvidia store model and it's at +114 core. My temps are great because I did the thermal grizzly kyronaut repasting and my two hour loop on heaven ends at 70c at 70% fans (1:1)

Im in the same boat. I can play at even +152 for an hour or two but it's going to crash, and crash hard, eventually.
At that setting it holds 2000-2012 throughout, too. it's not temp or voltage or power, it's topping out the silicon. When it crashes the gpu-z log will look great. all straightline 2000mhz, 65c, etc. no signs of a problem.
