a little of both. I've long called for Vega to beat 1080. It may be close enough to 1080TI that they wanted to guarantee top dog status for however many years running. Also, b/c of demand. They cant keep Ti in stock, and these will sell, so why not?

On that naming scheme
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX TITAN X
NVIDIA TITAN X
NVIDIA TITAN Xp
This guys are jokesters. They know this is supposed to be the Nvidia Titan X Black.

I admit I'm too cheap to buy the full version of 3DMark to run Firestrike Extreme. biggrin.gif

Download GPU-Z and watch a YouTube video on how to use it. Use msi afterburner and take a screenshot of both graphs for us.

YouTube how to do.

Yep...

Team Red has the advantage of not urinating in your face if you need to work with openCL... So, I wish them both joy joy feelings and much success so that all of us get cheaper and better GPUs.

Well I just bought 2 1080Ti's for SLI, and am in the process of trying to sell my titan"x"p. I wonder what performance increases will see with the Xp over the Ti and xp. I feel a little burned right now.

Exactly how I felt... Then I bought into the hybe.

Here's hoping this new card can actually truly do 4k 60fps all settings maxed.

EDIT:

Probably not though considering he's getting 48FPS min with 1080ti SLI. rolleyes.gif
