That why things like SLI, TITANs, overpriced "gaming" UW monitors or upcoming 2k USD 4K 144hz monitors are not on my list since those are poor value per money smile.gif.

1080Ti I consider great value per money. TITAN and TITAN XP I consider throwing my money out unnecessary smile.gif

But hey, I have to calculate everything so you know biggrin.gif
damn right. same reason i did it a couple months ago.

Lower heat - lower voltage needed. Water on the FE card is just fine for 2.1GHz.

My Ti was kinda dog overclocker. Barely doing 2000mhz. Really I should be doing SLI, but that's a crapshoot of issues.

I'm hoping to get more headroom, and the Titan's retain their value better. Should hold me over till the next round of cards. At that point I can sell and get the next Titan or Ti, whatever comes first. thumb.gif

Worst case scenario is I return it to Nvidia and pick up an AIB 1080ti Hybrid or something crazy like a Classified/KingPin or HOF if they're out in the next 30 days.

Titan not a bad choice if one hates sli, no doubt. That extra ~10% will come in handy.
