Vanu at the end of the day man our cards perform almost identically. The difference is mine is quiet and yours is loud, this is my opinion. I think the big difference here is I dont wear headphones and you do. If high fan speed doesn't bother you because you wear headphones, then more power to you. For everyday stuff I dont even overclock my card. It boosts to 1950mhz out of the box and I can't hear the fans unless I put my head right against the card. Enjoy your card, I'm done benchmarking. Just don't be childish about other peoples builds.

I miss the 780 TI and 980 Ti card days. ******* around with custom bios's that gave the cards 500Watts or more. Nvidia really locked these things down. Ruins the fun for us enthusiasts. I think I had my 980 Ti running at 1500Mhz core with a EVGA AIO on it biggrin.gif

Has I already have the shunt mod and not getting past 2070 mhz and bios unlock seems far,

I'm starting to think about doing the physical voltage mod on my 1080ti.

https://xdevs.com/guide/pascal_oc/#step4

Anyone here has done it ?

I know about risk and temps, just want to give it a little more juice, just a little...

I'm not sure yet but its tempting.

speaking of juice, (i guess it's the way they do the power delivery differently on giga)this guy does not like extra juice. At all. HOWEVER, it will take +162 core and hold 65c in BF1 after 2 hours , clocks were 2025 with an occasional 2037. Stayed solid as a rock. Going to bed now but will try more core tomorrow. BEASTY card, but don't add volts. Peace out fellaz.

I finally bought 3DMark. Firestrike Extreme won't even start up for me. It just crashes instantly, what's wrong with it? Even with no OC. It must be another issue.

It says test cancelled by user. The demo runs fine.

2152 maybe ok at 1.081, past once but starts power capping and does take a few dips, 1.093 takes power dips too so next step would be better bios.

benchmark is from the last big dip on clock about mid graph, and did pass ok but does dip with power limit, successive runs crashed.

seems to clock up pretty smoothly so far but maybe reaching the wall,

2101 1.043
2114 1.050
2126 1.062
2139 1.075...

one voltage bin per clock bin seems to be required at the moment

Still to play with memory, but that ain't going to help the power situation so will try that next.
