NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 422

Not long had the Msi gaming x, stock boost is 1974mhz.
Was going to get the Gb extreme but at £130 more I thought what the hell, not a bad decision by the looks of the Extreme review.
Ive settled at 2050mhz for the oc.

Mate, just buy which one looks better. All of them OC THE SAME. 2050mhz is soft cap most achieve while anything above that till 2100 is a matter of winning a golden chip which is a lottery and can happen with every brand.

Just buy what looks best for your RIG.

All AIBs are the same....

It's basically as fast as 980 Ti SLI at 1200 MHz at default clocks (1850, but actually 1080 Ti is faster in this comparison by 3-5 FPS if you watch closely) and probably as fast as 980 Ti SLI at 1350-1400MHz at 2025Mhz:

Well you went from +120 and 70C sounding like a hair drier to +162 and being whisper quiet! Congratulations.

To be honest, I don't care if this vbios never get's unlocked, the performance with it the way it is is phenomenal.
oh yeah. In games where sli worked my fps is about the same now but much smoother and much better minimums. And, of course, sli works about 1/3 of the time so in all those other games (like rainbow six siege) it's basically doubled (framerate).

Its ok ?? Or can better (its my first time on Curve smile.gif

A couple of things with the curve, first depends if you have voltage unlocked.

1/ might as well be a straight line after 1.093 as that's the max voltage unlocked anyway.

2/ In reference to stock volts its the 1.050 you really want to concentrate on and have it flat after that point.

Once you find the max stable at 1.050, if you are not power limited, then maybe try adjust up 1.062 a clock bin higher and flat from there, and so forth.
