It may allow you some room to do lower volts to hit some max clocks. I tested mine last night at 1.031 volts at 2063 core. Power limit for these is my only limitation right now.

Why would higher power limits allow you to do lower volts to hit the max clocks? Isn't it the other way around (allow you to have higher voltage to hit max clocks)? Are you saying that you always am being power-limited no matter what?

Yeah I got really lucky. I bought a broken XB271HU thinking I could buy a replacement panel. Nope. I called Acer and they can't even replace it if I send it in and pay them. I looked everywhere online for the panel. Nowhere to be found. They just don't sell it. So I posted about it and someone PM'd me saying they had a XB270HU sitting in his closet and that he'd throw it up on eBay for me for $250. Awesome dude. Now I have the 1080 Ti on the way to replace my 980 Ti and get some more FPS!

For those flashing a 330W (or 375W) BIOS meant for a 2x8pin card to the FE, aren't you worried about forcing >=127W over the 6pin where it's only spec'ed for 75W? That's 70% more power than what the 6pin connector is rated for.

Be prepared for possible burning plastic smell if you run furmark or high loads for any long period of time. I burned my PCIe cable with a 980 Ti, but that's because I was forcing ~325W through one cable (400W furmark load - 75W PCIe = 325W split over a y-connector.)

The Strix BIOS I get sustained 2100 at 1.075v, best one so far. smile.gif

Nice, thanks man.
I was just reading through the "How To Flash Strix ....." thread looking for more info.
If i do find time during the weekend I will try the Strix and post some results there

Well FedEx now says my package was delivered... I was outside a whole 45 minutes before the delivery time and did not see any FedEx people... So my Titan Xp says it was delivered, but in actuality was not. I have a case # from FedEx now.

As for Amazon, they refunded me for the Kryonaut they were unable to deliver...

This is shaping up to be a great week! thumb.gifmad.gif
