How are you guys cooling the FE? I just got my two but the hybrid kits on EVGA are sold out.

I actually don't know if it is helping him. My scores at 1080p are higher than what he shows @2100Mhz and im only running 2038-2063MHz.

IF you have a golden chip and are underwater, it can help, though.

My Temps are at 45C,check my previous post. I was at a stable 2114Mhz low Temps and voltage was constant.

I'm wondering where the extra power actually comes from. The 6-pin or our mobos? It could be my motherboard. Doesn't benefit from drawing that extra power.

Yeah, same here. I agree. Everyone I've talked to has said the Asus strix bios hurts their score.

aaaaaaaaahhhhhh. thinking back to the pcb breakdown on gamersnexus i believe, there is some 'sharing' going on. I bet you are right. It's coming from the pcb. So, if you have a ridiculous mobo maybe it's useful, but mostly just scary.

Why'd you choose the EVGA FE? Is it purely because of good after-sales support?

I was just trying to say that under water. The things will be power limited almost always. For instance, I cab hit the power limit easily in some benchmarks at 2063 core by just adding +160 or so to core. I can get 2076 if I use the curve and drop my voltage to 1.031 or so. But I still hit the power limit even then. Hope that makes sense.

And that if you're not power-limited, your clocks will be more stable. That's just it? Nothing else?

Did you install vrm heatsinks? Or just keeping the blower fan for that?

Actually it was the cheapest one I could find here in Italy (less than 740€ shipping included).
