you gonna love that 5775c.

After a couple hours of BF1, i was gaming at 60-61 first hour and a half but Amiens came on so the high i according to HWmonitor was 62. Same situation this morning pre-paste was 66c. My cpu was actually running hotter than my gpu (65c) throughout.

Nice. But I will void warranty on Asus when I dismantle it and change paste, right? mad.gif

Yeah, if you tell them, but they wont open it up just to check for that. just don't break the fan plugs!
If it's too hard, abort. We are talking about 4-5c here. Wanted but not needed.

Well, if I break anything I have 14 days to return it anyway rolleyes.gif God bless EU law I guess.

I will try to find some YT video about dismanting STRIX.

How do you guys prefer to apply paste? I prefer single dot in the middle technique. But I know some like X technique.

Thanks! The last 3 full cover blocks that I've had from EK have done great. This one is doing phenomenally, but it isn't pushing the same type of temp load that was on my old 780 lightning with it's 860 watt bios. Feel the burn devil.gif And my ambient temps aren't too bad yet. I'm sure that temps will go up over the summer somewhat.

Upgraded from a 980Ti to a FE 1080 Ti. Forgot how loud the fan was, but I planned on getting a hybrid kit. I was wondering if someone could post what and where are the exact mods needed for the 1080 hybrid kit to fit. Thanks for any help.

My buddy who works at Canada Computers just called to let me know they received 2 Aorus Extremes and 4 Aorus non extremes. Both Extremes were snagged right away, but I had him put a regular aside for me. Tomorrow my MSI FE gets traded in. biggrin.gif Can't wait to see what she can do!
