Welcome to the aorus side club. It's a sexy beast. I recommend stock volts and you start at +79 core so it'll prob hold another +50-100 core. Mine's at +76, it is at 2067 at first, then 2050 until temps get in the low 60s (where it stays), level out at 2025 and stay there. If I was under water this card can hold 2067+ @ 1.05v

Look back at my previous posts. I slapped a 1080 hybrid kit on it with only needing a screw driver kit and some thermal paste.

The best bang for your buck still thermal grizzly kyro. ~5c basically for 10 minutes and 10 dollar. That's solid. Considering that a hybrid kit is about $5-7 per 1c gained. So if you ARE going hybrid, FOR sure get Kyronaut, too. And if you are staying on air, Kyro gives you a bin or turbo worth of perf easily. Think of it like this. If the manufacturers offered another gpu that was the same but just was 5c lower average temp, would ANYBODY pass it up if it was only $10 more?

Hey peeps, when bench testing with Heaven or 3DMark or running any game, you want to change your Nvidia control panel to Single Display Performance Mode and Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance in the actual game profile.

If you set Prefer Maximum Performance in Global settings your card may not downclock properly when just web browsing and stuff.

Using these options will give you a bit more stability and give you an extra bin or two at the same voltages. biggrin.gif

I saw that, I wanted to see the mods done to the shroud of the hybrid to make it look more complete. I've seen one persons attempt, but I needed more info on what and where he modified things, just to be 100% sure, don't want to **** it up, especially since this is my first attempt at modding a gpu!

Just got my bitspower blocks installed cheers.gif Also tried out the shunt mod but ran out of liquid ultra faster than I thought I would so I am not seeing the numbers others are. Still now able to hold low 40's with heavy stress testing at 2060. Block is for the titan but is compatible just need to add more thermal pads then they call for to cover the new/extra vrm area. Note that the led wire naturally runs out right over the lowest shunt mod so be sure to run it up past the caps instead. thumb.gif

Thanks brother. Really looking forward to it. What fan speed are you running for those temps, and what's the approximate ambient temperature? I plan on running it at 100%, really don't mind the noise. I'm running my FE at 100% and it's completely fine for me. Loud = reference 290X in my book. I'm hoping to maintain 2075-2100 with that generous 375W TDP!

I have the G3 1000W and I found it noisy. its small so air is having a hard time passing through and make more wind noise. But I change the fan and conected it to my motherboard to control fan speed and noise. So its ok now. But I would have prefer the bigger G2 it must be more silent.
