If you put water on the Titan Xp it's clearly going to be the fastest.
yeah because they are better samples AND have the 256 extra cores. The Titan's are all center die samples. They are overclocking like champs. Everybody is getting 2050+. @Alucardis666 's 1080Ti was a 1900's overclocker, he sold for $750, and his Titan clocks and holds 2.114 @ 42c

CRUSHES us, in his case that is almost 20% gains between clocks and cores.....

Not always. Always check curve again after applying.. Its also about how you arrange your bins. Just maxing oc and locking it doesn't always yield best results or scores.

In theory a TXp at a stable 1900Mhz core clock performs similarly to a 2050Mhz core clock 1080 ti (14.5 tflops). Of course, if you overclock both to the max, the TXp gains about 1 tflop of extra performance, not to mention the extra memory bandwidth. I still don't think that performance differential is worth $500, but I'm not against people wanting to buy the best thing out there either. The 1080 ti is still a beast on its own thumb.gif

yeah, no reason to hang our heads in here. If you are a millionaire, well, hell, yeah your rig sucks with a 1080ti... ya bum

For the rest of us, we are just obviously smarter consumers. Just don't make yourself look ignorant and start claimng we beat Titan Xp(2017); that's ridiculous. (obviously I dont mean you, Clukos tongue.gif)

Honestly, for the $500 premium that Nvidia wants for the TXp, they can have their tiny performance lead. The 1080 Ti is far and away the winner on the value front. tongue.gif

Agreed. But I'm seeing a 8-20fps increase in my games at 4k maxed settings with the TXp. So worth it, imo. I can only imagine how well this would be doing 100hz 3440x1440 gsync. rolleyes.gif

20fps increase over 1080ti? Are we talking about cs:go or something?

he said 8-20, so the 20 being in the games that hit over 100 fps in 4k i guess. I hit 80 -85 fps in 4k in BF1 on ultra in some maps so there are a TON of games that will hit 100fps now-a-days (crazy, i know). I hit over 144fps in 4k in FiFa17, for example. In wildlands or mass effect if he's getting 8 fps in 4k, that's huge. But he did go from a dog to a golden, that doubles the usual delta between TXp17 and 1080Ti.

I arrived here from a google search about a bios vmod and was greeted with 4500+ posts in 35 days, or ~128 posts/day ... you guys are nuts.

Thank you. Couldn't have said it any better myself. thumb.gif

Well if we are talking about the worst 1080ti ever to a titan Xp Golden Sample i can believe that a game thats outputting over 100fps can gain 20 fps but the difference will not turn an unplayable game at 4k into a playable one.
