no doubt. but those guys should have known, i knew from the start when it was cut down that this was a 2 titan cycle. Other clue was the very fast and quiet launch.

Its great for gaming and all, but that sweet sweet epeen. rolleyes.gif

Im slapping on some resistors to the caps next to the power controller, will let you guys know if that works better than the shunt mod. And if there is a way to not have to solder them on.

There's someone in here that tried soldering some resistors and failed. I'd read his post before you start.

Yeah i saw that one, im not entirely sure if that was done properly or not. I have a feeling he dropped the current way too much.

Using the Strix bios with a voltage curve has definitely helped me. I'm game stable at 2088Mhz, been playing Ghost Recon for hours without any issues. I could only do 2063 with the FE bios due to the power limit.

Have you tried to see if in game performance actually increased?

Just because it shows a constant clock doesn't mean anything.

Monitor your voltage, power limiting and the clock.

This keeps happening with everyone. Kendrawolf needs to update the op of the strix thread.

But the strix will hold your core clock and then try to stabilize it by continously adding voltage. Your power limiting will get worse, worse and worse.

The Asus strix bios thinks it has 350 watts available when it does not. It will tap into that power draw and come up short. But you will still see 2088 Mhz even though you're power limited.

Thats just basic driver windows don't have Ti drivers to auto load

Double check you got correct driver also if it fails try again i had this problem few months back where it failed first time reboot and 2nd time it went though
