I agree with that. ROG would have been my choice, I was more or less tied between Rog and Aorus, I love both of their beefy butts. Had to grab whatever was available first b/c I was already two days past the Nvidia store return window and used my Slackaveli ways to get a return and didnt want to delay.

But isn't the ROG like 90+ over the FE while the Aorus is +20, Aorus wins wink.gif

Ok, tested more with curve. At 2088 with 1.093 V it downclocked itself to 2076 and stayed there for the rest of the bench. +500 memory (will try +550 now). Seems like max of my card is around 2075 on core. Unless I am not getting that curve thing right....

My curve so far:

Hmmm.... Ok, will try to kick it more.

You're just being thermal throttled. Everything is settling down.

I would try and run the lowest voltage possible so you don't generate as much heat.

My curve so far:

sounds right to me. That is literally exactly what I'm getting. That card is fabulous, bro. We are getting that on air. And it really really hold up well over long gaming sessions. I game at ~54c with the window open and about 58c-61c with it closed. I do have 2 other profiles; one with slightly less clocks locked to a slightly less voltage for power hog games of if i ever get bad temps, and another one with +103 (which is +194 adjusted over stock core) for benching. Helped me get #1 on 5775c on all the Firestrike benches. Let's see if you end up beating me.

Looks good, and 2076 is pretty common, although you might find you can run 2076 at a lower voltage bin than that. Performance/stability doesn't seem to scale particularly well into the higher voltage bins.

on water it is but is less common on air. Very few can hold 2076 on air.

On lower Voltage it downclocks to 2063. I have to keep him 2088 on 1.093 so it can downclock to 2076 when hitting 64C and stay there.

On good note- +550 memory is ok, so running 12k memory. I think I will leave it that way.

If that's the case, compare results thoroughly.

Your results at lower voltages might be better than at voltages of 1.092.

Post a screenshot of your GPU-Z also.

Ok, did two full Heaven runs. 1.093 V on 2076 stable (downclock from 2088) with +550 memory (6055 memory).

Maybe I will try to push memory to +600 tomorrow. We will see.

So far I am pleased with this card.

2 full runs at Extreme 1440p at 2076 core and 1.093 V and max temp was 69C. Beast cooler....

Althought there is no point in OC higher than 2050 really. Difference in fps between 2050 to 2063 was 0.2 fps in max and min. And difference between 2063 and 2076 was another 0.2 and 0.3 difference in fps.

I think for everyday use I will settle on 2063 on 1.081V.

Tomorrow some games and CPU OC
