I had to move my reservoir and side panel in order to fit it in there. Can't wait until EK releases the waterblock for this card... but until then I'll have to deal with it. Time to sell my 980 Ti + waterblock and get some of this cash back!!!

I bumped the power limit up to 125% to get that sweet 375w limit. Didn't touch anything else and it's boosting to 2000Mhz right out of the box. I'm impressed! I set the fan at 100% and during firestrike extreme temps didn't even hit 50C which I'm surprised about since I heard the Aorus's ran a little hot.

It is beastly isn't it, that's the first thing I thought (was always a evga guy myself) when I got this card. I event got the master accessory magnetic stand for the slight sag

Oh god I remember those days, good point

Are you locking your voltage at a certain bin? Like the cntrl+L method?

Slim is correct, it will idle down to 278 but if you open a browser it clocks back up

I just set adaptive for chrome specifically and it clocks down now. I have max performance for the global tab.

Just placed an order on a backordered Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 1080ti. I was just telling myself earlier today that I will wait until more reviews are out so I can pick the one with the best OC potential, and then here I am taking my credit card out! I will watercool it whenever EK releases a block for it.

I keep reading that Pascal usually tops out at around 2100MHz, do you foresee the Evga FTW3 and Zotac AMP Extreme fairing any better? What's the general consensus here on which non-reference card to get?

Well I hit 10101 in Superposition 4K optimized. It seems regardless of whether I set the curve to 1000mv or just use an offset, the core bounces between 1950-2012mhz during the bench, so even 1.0v set to 2050mhz can't keep it from throttling. I might try some other BIOS just for the heck of it, but I'm really tempted to use a copper shim and the AIO cooler I have and go all out with the shunt, etc.

Asus BIOS, 2075 core. +659 memory, 1.031v, is my best score yet.

I'm pretty happy I'm hitting those clocks at 1.031v. smile.gif

Full water cooling must make a big difference, I'd love to have that last 13 Mhz. Youre below 40C right?
