They could ship them so they peak at 1600Mhz and we'd all be stoked with the 30% overclock lol.

I use it on the 2 shunt coming from the 6 pin and the 8 pin but not on the pciexpress one and it drop my power from 120% max to 80% max without any problem. seeing how small the wire was and how big the drop was, I think it would be easy to lower it too much if the wire is too big

Can I ask you why you shunted the mobo resistor? Aren't you scared of pulling extra power form the motherboard slot?

Edit: Nvm justice rrad you didn't shunt that one.

Same here, although his bios was twice the file size, sounds wrong.

I'll run that nvidia command when I get home on Asus BIOS. Maybe 30 minutes from now.

So I settled on 2062 to 2050 downclock (over 60c) for my 24/7, no volts, +54mhz, 150 PL, custom fan curve max at 75% (still bone quiet) hitting 1.032v 1.051v on gpu-z (she maxes out at 70c)

here is my score. game stable, witcher 3, Battlefield 1, GTA V

not chasing 2100 unless I'm underwater with some kryonaut scuba gear lol and that wont be until I put this aorus xtreme up against the FTW3 in early may when my preorder comes in.
