I have to disappoint everybody who hopes the cover terminal is led-lightened. It is not and there is absolutly no way to insert a led yourself. It is no space in there and the terminal cant be disassembled. Funny that the manual has a section "connecting the terminal cover led" This is surely not for the actual terminal. Either the section is outdated or EK already plans another terminal with led.

Been using these clocks to play witcher 3 for the past 4 or 5 days with like 4+ hours sessions. Pretty happy overall.

Edit: forgot to mention my card lol
nice, man, almost exactly like mine. I keep matching or occasionally beating all the extreme's I see, which makes my reggie Aorus very happy!

when I get that glitch I switch primary monitors and re-boot and it resets. Is very annoying; it's the old 144Hz glitch.

just woke up, give me a bit. Basically i determined that i crash at +90 but i can hold +90 mostly everywhere except at that 1.043v mark, so i run that mark at +77, the others (over 1v) at +90, the ones BELOW 1v at +77 (in case more are unstable like 1.043v is), and I flatten the line at 2088 T 1.075v, and lock it there.

My submission for the 1.000 Volt Challenge:

Ran mostly at 2063 Mhz with power limiting frown.gif

But SuPo is a *****, I have to run it at 2101 MHz due to power limits. I got the screenshots at home, didn't have time to upload, but 4K Optimized I got 10,350ish on all three runs. Still happy with 2101 even, but that load is way higher than other benchmarks. Sad I cant use SuPo stress in windows while clicking else where on the screen, it closes SuPo out.

I bought some heatsinks with double sided thermal tape on Amazon, I will be putting those on the base plate around the Hybrid pump, just to add some cooling back to VRMs and Memory. Also going to wire the pump to the motherboard WPUMP header, to let the GPU free up some more wattage.
yeah, i am a bit annoyed that I can't pause during SuPo bench to tune. That's a good Idea, before i sold founder's i had 2 100mmx50mmx15mm finned heatsinks with the high grade Fujipoly pads right over the gpu/vram on the backplate and they got pretty hot so they were doing something.

score looks about right to me, i have to have a locked 2076 curve and max on my mems to beat it, and I only run about 10,400 maxed out myself.

Is 7740K one of the mainstream CPU's though? When is its target release date?
yeah, it's the best 4/8 i-7. Will OC to about 5.5Ghz+. Unveiling at Computex in exactly 2 months, release shortly after.

I know the gaming x might whine aswell, but with the money from watercooling I wouldnt have to pay anything extra for the card. I find it ridiculous we have to pay 800€ for a graphics card and then have to put up with a coilwhining piece of crap...
haven't heard a single whine out of either my FE or my Aorus.

Easter is saved...

Mine just got here as well (US) and I did standard shipping. Too bad I won't be able to play with it until next week as I'm tied up until then.

I returned my STRIX 1080 Ti today. Got cash back. I am waiting for other AIBs to start showing up here. Back to my 980Ti for a moment (at least no stupid voltage curve... rolleyes.gif )

I will probably go for AORUS Extreme now or another hight Power Limit card.

Any info what Power EVGA FTW3 has?

Tried to do 1.000V challenge run on ASUS bios and it just ran like garbage:

For reference, stock:

Update on my Hybrid mount,

Managed to mount it "properly" now, I dont get driver crashes due to temperatures, but They seem a bit high still, reaching 67'C after 20 minutes in Heaven.
Will try to look for a single Shim that is 45mmx45mmx1.5 , instead of 2 shims.

Had to file away a portion of the corner on the mount, as it was hitting the stock shroud and would not lay flat on the gpu.
