I think it said he was here 4 hours ago lol. I'm game to help but honestly I will likely get busy and only come here occasionally until the next big release. Not sure if anyone feels up to managing the OP. I guess there is no sort of wiki style format where we could have multiple folks helping with edits?

That's exactly what I was thinking. We can just start a google drive and let people that post here a lot have access to it. It will be a master edit file and whoever owns the OP can just copy and paste it when it's updated.

I think Kedarwolf would be the primary candidate. He can start by copying his other 1080 Ti threads and having them as the OP. He can then throw his OP in the cloud and give some of us access to it.

Bought a Titan Xp. Wasn't impressed. Benches great and overclocks okay but the stock cooler is terrible and loud. Decided I didn't want to mod a $1200 card so the Titan Xp is going back.

Back to my 1080 FTW2 until I can score one of the better 1080 Tis. Something with a good stock OC, extra power headroom, etc.

Anybody can show me info to set Curve (MSI Afterburner) for the 1080Ti FE version.
I was Overclocking this can to 2050Mhz with 1.075v. And I couldn't pass higher 2050mhz.

Seriously?

Are you comparing my 4790k vs 5930k?

The point here is that despite you having higher clocks, the gpu score is lower because that asus bios.

I wonder if it power limits on the average of the samples, as it did seems to be hovering around 300w, although the was a lot of max's over 340w and GPU-Z at 124%. Hard to say, but it looks like you get more power than anybody else at any rate smile.gif

How does this give me 1900 ? I do not get it.

I really wish there would be a better way to OC these 1080ti-s than the voltage curve, whatever I do to the voltage curve the cards just ignores it and does it`s own thing. Running at some random speeds and random volts, I cant figure it out, and even when the card is runnin @ 105% TDP or so afterburner onscreen display flashes the power limit and reduces clocks, using strix bios. rolleyes.gif
Seems buying a waterblock and using watercooling is a waste of money on these cards since you cant really get anything more out of em compared to air, when they just do whatever they want, god I miss the 980ti days when u disable boost andwhatnot foce constant voltage and clocks and do what you want.

O
This is what I was running TimeSpy at to get that power draw. 30 FPS. Only scene 2.
