Running TimeSpy but I'm using Asus BIOS. redface.gif

Do I lost a port if I flash the SC2 bios to FE?

What is the maximum PL in Watts with SC2 BIOS?

The ASUS card has different kind of components so something must confuse it. I can't speak for Kedarwolf, but I always get worse results with it. It's always bad news and now shunt modded with 400 Watts for it to draw form, it just acts stupid.

If the ASUS bios can't recognize a shunt mod on a reference card, something is up with it. It's just not meant to be run on the FE.

Here's old power readings

Anyways, the SC2 bios seems to give me more stable OCs. I like it so far. It's worth trying, even though it seems to be equal in performance to the FE design. Also, if you're on a hybrid mod or AIO, you can now set the fan to turn off at lower temperatures, which is great for noise and extends the fans life.

TL;DR: So far, the SC2 bios doesn't seem to have any drawbacks, but you gain 0% fan speed at idle if you want. ASUS bios + Shunt mod = No.

I confirmed this too few days before you, i made a post about it here.

The part about shunt mod not working with ASUS BIOS.

Should be fine. Has 3 DP ports.

Not sure what the benefit of this over an FE BIOS is, although the SC2 BIOS will have an OC baked into it.

Thanks. I ran mine again and got 10512. Not sure why it would be slower... I have a 2700K @ 4.8GHz, maybe my CPU is gimping the 1080 Ti?

I remember seeing a thread with someone showing 7 vs 10 3dmark firestrike and the difference was around ~10%. Think I would gain some points with this benchmark on 10? Highest I have been able to push is 2139mhz, crashes after a short time on 2154mhz with heaven and superposition.
