Seems like a dud card IMO. Tho I havent read reviews on the Auros Non Extreme.

2 card SLI with aftermarket cards is a bad idea. Either go Founders Edition or Watercooling. The top card will drown in the bottom cards heat.

He shunt modded a card that doesn't need the shunt mod. His card could already access 375 watts iirc if it needed to, and he shunt modded it. So it could have access 500 watts and blew up.

Other people reporting issues. Personally I think the Asus STRIX and MSI Gaming X are the cards to get for aftermarket aircooled cards.

A case with a side fan can negate that.

Or bottom intake fans and the top fans exhausting.

It depends on how you setup your case flow.
