NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 624

So I bought the warranty through microcenter, protects against overclock damage, so I should be able the shunt mod my card and if it fails clean it up and return? That's in the perfect world

Damn that's I pretty high core clock I know if I go +190 without any voltage benchmark crashes, Are you using the curve?

Didn't remember that boost chips. Probably not a good idea to flash that bios.

My card is not golden, only 2050 with voltage maxed out, and 2020 with 1.043, all with EVGA Hybrid Pump.

Superposition on 4K Optimized it's heavily power limited, clocks bouncing all time. I don't want to shunt mod, so i'm hoping a magic bios to unlock a little more power.

Also for now, the pump is connected to GPU, because i'm waiting for a mini-gpu fan to PWM connector, so i can put in direct on the mobo. I suppose this is eating some power, because now the GEFORCE GTX led it's barely visible, it's like don't recieve enough power.

Quit the epeen bro, people have different systems. My card is literally linearly growing as I add cores. Feel free to look through my images at my other benchmarks at different core clocks. If what you were saying is true, then my scores wouldn't be linearly growing as I add more to my core. So quit it with the BS just because you don't have a good card anymore.

You're literally upset over 0.5 fps and it's ridiculous.

Many times written...I'm not upset don't worry for me will find a good card.

After some light benchmarks, I can easily hit 2152 Mhz @ 1.093v with no limiting.
Your result is not on 2152 core speed. Your system with 4790@4.7 cannot hold 4k Optimised Superposition benchmark not even with 0.5fps compared to other systems. 10500 mark is where not throttling cards are hitting with 2050-2076Mhz range and you are bellow this mark what we need to discuss if you have a "real" 2152Mhz core frequency or not ?
You can get back and see my score with 2063Mhz core speed...here you're if you're lazy ...and this was prior to the shunt mod tongue.gif

Edit: HyperC has 10632 with 2075Mhz some posts above also

Edit: Not upset for 0.5fps difference just get with it you're not running 2152Mhz core speed...actually the difference is you have 1.5fps less relating to 2.3% difference claiming 50mhz higher core speed biggrin.gif

Can someone look at this picture for me and explain to me what this means? I read the guide and did an attempt at making a curve with these settings...
1.012v = 2038 / 1.050v = 2050 / 1.093v = 2062 / 1.100v+ = 2075
Set this curve and opened and ran Furmark @ 1920 x 1080 stress test to put load on my GPU but it's saying I need more power? What does that mean or what can I do if anything so it will bring my voltage above 0.993v like you see in my picture?

Also, can someone tell me how I can zoom in or see full screen the pictures that you guys are posting? I can not zoom in to see the clocks you guys have set because the pictures look to small with chrome.

You are full on power limiting, that's what all the green is in GPU-Z, with curve open, hit CNTRL+D, then raise 1.050 volt to 2050 and hit apply. It should raise that voltage and all voltages after to 2050. then try that, ideally you should have very little green. Also 1.093 is the highest you can use anyway smile.gif

Just did a shunt mod on my EVGA 1080 Ti FE. Seems to have knocked down the TDP a bit.

Yes but guess I didn't apply that much because my power limits aren't that much lower.. I will add some more soon just a pain in the rear have to remove all the hot glue and drain my loop again plus I think my D5 is on its last leg barely pushes through my 1st 2 radiators not joking it takes like 30 minutes to fill my system
