We need more people on water to test it.

Done. Fullcover EKWB Block. No fan connected. Card normaly wont go past 41-42° because of water so the fan won't spin anyway at this temperatures...

Evga FE. SC2 Bios flashed. Card is still working fine. Boost is really nice out of box. On FE Bios I remember something around 185x without touching anything. Now she goes to 195x at 1.05 V.

Interesting though that the version of the FE Bios is the same like the SC2 one.

Which should mean its just a subvendor change with another core clock curve mapped and that few extra watts.

Im not that kind of "search for those 10 extra watts" guy so no results from me here. But I just wanted to let you guys know that the card is still working fine under load. Now lets see if I get it stable at 2000 MHz and 1.012 V which wasnt possible on the FE Bios. I dont wanna go under 2k MHz wheee.gif

Yes, the board is one of the closes partner reference boards. So that's why it works very well with the FE and the only bios I have recommended to everyone.

BTW, the last two digits is .90 because that's EVGA's vendor bios number IIRC.

What does pressing Ctrl+L do in AB? I get a yellow vertical line on the curve and my voltage (even if low like 1.012v) doesn't seem to go up higher when i do this.

Wow. So pleased with my STRIX. Does 2063 stable in games and with 70% Fan speed I don't see any higher then 54C rolleyes.gif If I repaste that beast.... mmmm...

Finally settled on my 1080 Ti smile.gif

Is there a way to lock certain frequencies to certain voltages? I have tried the curve method (Cnt+f) and locking with it, but that doesn't seem to really do anything. Is there a specific way to do this to make it work?

2075-2088 @ 1.000v. No shunt mod here.

That's a great silicon lottery winner. I can't get past 2025Mhz @ 1.000v. I made it to 15/17 on Superposition @ 2037Mhz. I wish we could just get a BIOS to up that power limit just a bit more smile.gif

One more card to add! Redoing my loop always takes me days.

I wonder if it would look better if I put MSI's included m.2 shield over the 960 Pro, or just let it proudly display itself and its reflection (the red "Pro" is the only red part of the whole setup).

Yes, that is correct smile.gif

Also, If I don't have a 4K monitor (only 1080p) can I still run the 4k tests with SuPo and other benches? I'm assuming the answer would be NO that it doesn't somehow virtually apply a 4k resolution in like a sandbox environment.

Yeah it doesn't care what your monitor is just use 4K optimised as it uses a lot of power, but remember it can be misleading as games don't use anywhere near that much.

ps. That Rainbow happens to me a lot.

What is locking / unlocking the curve and how do you "lock" the curve?

ignore the rainbow for now and just get a feel for what is stable and what is the crash point per voltage bin

once you move a voltage point you hit apply as you normally would, but you can also save it to a preset as well. then theres locking it to a voltage bin, but I wouldn't worry about that as it can cause the clk bins to drop a lot worse with power or temp limiting.
