NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 68

Guys, one question, if I`m not mistaken I can buy any of Founders edition cards (Asus/Zotac/MSI, Evga, etc ...) and for example this water block Watercool HEATKILLER® IV for TITAN X (Pascal) - ACRYL ? Is it compatible and can I use any water blocks which was created for Titan Pascal ?

Never know if all the thermal pads are installed from the factory, and the paste can have way too much or too little. Almost have to take off cooler when buying a new card just to see.

Am I right?

Do you have any suggestions related full cover blocks ?

Yes, same pcb as TXP, so you can use any TXP block on 1080 ti.

I would make the assumption that that water block would work, but EKWB has confirmed their Titan-XP is compatible.

and it blue screened

now it won't display anything from the DP ports

only the hdmi port works which i tried and outputs a corruput picture with a weird purple colour

i've tried it on a different pc with same issue.

I just tried to push mine to +200 memory and my PC completely locked up.

Thankfully the card is still working...

The Founder's Edition has no DVI, only HDMI and DisplayPort. My monitor supports HDMI and DVI, however HDMI only goes up to 1920x1080, so I need DVI to run the monitor at its native resolutions as far as I am aware. So how the hell am I supposed to connect my card if I were to get one? I read there is an DisplayPort to DVI adapter included, can someone comment on that?

wow, this is crazy. you and the guy who killed his. i had heard that bumping vram was pointless on this card but never that it was harmful. DON'T TELL NVIDIA that you OC'd it during RMA if you guys end up having to.
