Timespy score.

2100 / 6055 (mem better a bit higher like sc2)

most notable thing is the conflict better AB and GPU-Z, AB is like its reading the FE bios and doing 120%, but GPU-Z is reading about 100% plus spikes so 300w

seems to power limit less, but not significantly and again probably due to a softer bios that does demand quite the same power and slightly less voltage per clk bin. Again better than sc2 but I can't match the FE bios in SuPo 4K.

smi shows maxes upto 313w and averages not exceeding 300w, and I checked my UPS power out and it was only peaking at 423w with monitor connected also. With PSU efficiency then what its giving to the systems is even less.

2126 / 6055 to showing some power limiting

lastly not stable in games at same clks as FE frown.gif

Edit: thinking about "but GPU-Z is reading about 100% plus spikes so 300w", that's exactly what the Asus bios did, 111% of 275 = 300w but AB agreed with that at least.

+1

I have yet to use a bios that beats, let alone matches the FE bios.

Nor have I seen any scores from people that are out of the boundaries of normal 100-300 points variances in benchmarks with any custom bios that couldn't be achieved on the FE bios.

Maybe the Kingpin card will change that but I doubt it. It's just a sh**ty generation of cards in regards to overclocking/unlocking.

Amazing, even with the shunt mod, some power limiting occurs. Drew about 385-400 Watts here.

+~100 on FSU. I got minor pwr limit on the stock BIOS with shunt mod. The max pwr I could get with stock BIOS and power mod was 375w. The max power with the Palit BIOS is about 415w, no more pwr limit. Also it gives me more frequency/voltage on furmark; stock bios gives me 0.9v, Palit gives 1.025v.

Let us know what you find please.

Wow, maybe limiting on the PCIE rail as you didn't shunt mod that one. Could try full 120% power and see whether that fixes it, may prove whether the PCIE rail is worth modding at all smile.gif

Absolutely no Perfcaps in GPU-Z and I've done multiple runs through Superposition 4k and Heaven and have been playing Ghost Recon Wildlands for a couple hours with no issues. Might be able to either get a higher clock or drop the voltage even more. Haven't tried that yet.

BTW just an FYI, I learned that if you select a point in your voltage curve and then press the "L" key and it will lock it to that bin. I've found that it does still drop a bin so lock it on the next point up that you are aiming for.

exactly my clocks in the 1v challenge. Very nice. I have found that if i lock to 1.05v at 2063, i can run supo 4k with only 1 green blip in the whole run. So I assume, 1.04 (havent done it yet) would be the completely non power limited voltage for supo 4k on our Aorus'. We hit the jackpot with these two! They are both 2100 cards when watered.

i just keep a second profile that's exactly the same except unlocked and has the "fanstop" working, and is on optimum power in NCP, so i just switch profiles on AB after gaming/benching and it instantly drops to 240Mhz and goes silent. I didnt like the unlocking/relocking method as it sometimes effed up my curve. only takes 2 seconds this way, and no screwing it up. And the fans remind me to do it so i usually dont forget.

Any higher voltage bin makes card hits power limit and drop bin in W3 until it reach 1.062V where it holds. At 70% Fan speed after few hours in W3 I saw max 58C.

I think I will repaste it soon with Grizzly to drop it even more so I can maybe run it at 60% fan.

Can bench at 2088 at 1.081V but that is useless to me biggrin.gif.

At lowest bin I could get 2012 at 1.000V. Funny I couldn't get above 2038 until 1.04V where I could finally hit 2050.
