A readout from the wall is the most sure proof way.

Figure out how I can fix my borked power meter and I would be more than happy to test. Damn thing was off voltage wise and I tried to calibrate it which further messed it up. Oh well.

EVGA FE stock bios no shunt mod.
voltage and clock during the test @ 4k were .981 -1.012v and 2000Mhz - 2038Mhz with a few seconds up to 2050Mhz.

When you run these power hungry test's you just need to raise the overclock for the lower voltage bins in the curve.

Done.
Congrats on taking over the OP (also thanks to the guys that help maintain/improve it). Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, I will have more spare time and I won't be reading 4-5 days old posts.

I wasn't sure what was required for "clocks" info. Benchmarking speeds, or 24/7 ones? Anyway, I used my "worst" 24/7 up to date, i.e. 2100c/12000m@1.062V (original BIOS - no shunt mod).
As I mentioned already not enough time at the moment but, last weekend I installed the free game I got with the card - GR Wildlands - and run around for a couple of hours (1440p Ultra preset with motion blur disabled).
There are games that run the same clocks @1.050V but, I haven't tested for long periods of time (GR-W crashed after ~40 mins at this voltage).
In the spoiler below a screenshot for reference and also the logfile from GPU-Z that shows I don't hit any limits other than Util after ~2,5h. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I'm sure that once I try other games I will find ones that hit the PL and downclock or are unstable at those clocks. It was the same with my (also WCed) 980ti though.
There were a few games I could play at 1550/8000@1.256, most were ok at 1530/8000@1.244 and then there always was the one that would have me downclock to 1500/7500@1.225 so as not to crash.

But it only gets you 5c-8c, depending on how badly the factory tim is. My FE was just like yours, but was able to hold 2000 after the re=pasting. It probably had 2063 in it but I didnt want to spend another hundred on cooling (i had $70 extra in it already because i had to pay tax), so i just returned, grabbed an aorus, and kept the $50 change lol. Then b/c I always pay with paypal (it gives all the perks of a CC), they even paid me back for return shipping tongue.gif

Just pre ordered the EVGA Hybrid 1080ti cooler from B+H. I didnt have to pay tax on my 1080ti cause I was lucky enough to get it straight from EVGA on launch day while I was at work. Should have it May 4th. I will update you guys on what clocks I can get out of this thing with the Palit bios. Im excited biggrin.gif

I tested the Palit GameRock BIOS and i see no improvement regarding power limit over stock BIOS - i set the PL to 350W with nvsmi command. SUPO is only stable with 1.0V on stock or ASUS BIOS and downclocks the same as Palit even only on 1.025V.

2100 @ 1.063v

Broke through 23000 on my pedestrian 4790K. Single card outscoring a few SLI results.

Now I have to stop and wait for Skylake/Kaby + Volta. No seriously! I need to stop and play some games now.

Maybe because Stock FireStrike is a CPU test? Run Extreme, Ultra or TimeSpy and then compare.

Question:

Do I need to touch Voltage Slider when I have a Voltage Curve set?

Because I was playing around with Voltage Curve alone and Increaseing % on Voltage Slider did not seem to do anything to my clocks....

So If I have 2063 at 1.062V clock, do I need to change anything to my Voltage Slider or it can sit at 0%?

flashed the palit bios is allows me to run 2100 in heaven and spo benchmark without hitting the power limit. But the strange thing is my scores are lower??? tried all the bios and this is the only one that allows me to run well at 2100.

True or false?
Two 1080ti in sli is underperforming.
It has games like wildlands with perfomance equal to 1080 sli.
FAIL?
