NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 72

Hey guys, I ordered my GTX 1080Ti Direct from Nvidia on 2nd of march and it arrived on Friday, however I like to know when are we going to get our free games to redeem from nvidia? I already contacted them using the live chat support twice and the CS guy told me they should send out the codes soon after shipping. Has any one here received their code for Ghost Recon Wild Lands or For Honor Yet?

I can run 600 with no artifacts but I'm hunting for the optimal clock now which appear to be somewhere between +450 and +550.

Thanks allot for clearing that up. Just one question, I am planning on reformatting my PC soon and I do not wish to install Geforce Experience on my main computer so could I possible use the code to redeem the game on my other PC which has Geforce Experience software already installed?

Thanks again.

I have no idea, I don't use Geforce Experience. I just install PhysX and the GPU driver.

Nvidia recently changed their code redemption protocol. The codes are now tied to your GPU. For instance I currently have a 1060 installed while I wait for the 1080Ti this week. Newegg emailed me a redemption code. I knew of Nvidia's redemption change, but I wanted to try anyway. So I used the code in GFE, and got hit with an error. The only way I can redeem the code is with a 1080ti in my machine.

Has anyone tried max OC with 100% fan speed? Looking to get a taste of aftermarket OC performance. Please list the core speed and temperature.

I actually quite recently killed my old (sold to a friend) 980Ti with a mild bump in memory OC, which used to be well within the limits of max stable memory OC. Card was BIOS modded to max voltage without physical mod, but ran at a cool 55C so I dunno if it had an effect.
