Read that like a cheesy advertisement commercial for full sarcasm wink.gif

Lol. I'll stick to Hybrid 1080 TI FE's tongue.gif

Upgraded to CU update and 381.89, tuned the driver a bit and got this smile.gif

mainly a 2088 run but hits 2101 when power drops a bit, scores reasonable might try Palit again tomorrow and see if its any different with updates.

Hi guys. I've seen from screenshots of some of you guys, that when your cards are in idle they downclock to really low frequencies (like 200mhz). How do i do that?

My card idles at 1550 which makes the temp much higher than it needs to be. I have a Gsync monitor and Gsync enabled in windowed mode. Does that have anything to do with it?

Card is a OC'ed 1080ti Strix on air.

EDIT: Should also add that i have one 1080p 144hz screen as well. So running 2x monitor setup.

IIRC, it's been mentioned that if you have a 165hz panel that making it 144hz fixes this. I could be wrong and maybe it's 144hz > 120hz.

However, on my 100Hz panel, I did have the issue that was solved by a clean install of drivers. I think it was due to so many GPU switches within a short amount of time.

I think the panel is OC'ed to 165hz, but im currently using 144hz so that its the same refreshrate as my second monitor. I will try and put it at "standard" 144hz and maybe uninstall and install drivers. I have installed the newest drivers though so I'm not sure that is the problem.

EDIT: Complete uninstall and install of drivers did not help. I guess i have to hope it's the monitor at 165hz that is doing it. Will check when i get back home.

I'd rather upgrade my CPU and Mobo than get a second card and deal with micro stutter ..but that's just me.

FS Ultra

7748 in FS Ultra with a 4790k is a truly impressive score! I got 7590 with 1080ti@1075, 4790k@5Ghz, ddr3@2400

Which config did you have?

Yep, it'd be worth it to try both (I'm sure someone will chime in and confirm the accuracy, though).
