You like the HOF? You can pre-order here:

I pre-ordered a hybrid kit from B&H, they are receiving their stock on Monday, hoping to have my kit sometime next week. I got my tools (4mm hex and phillips bits), got some grizzly kryonaut and am ready. My evga FE seems to be a good clocker +175c +500 mem with decent temps (aggressive fan curve) even on air so we shall see how this goes. More than anything I'm looking for it to be quiet! smile.gif

Thinking about changing it out, but maybe it is better to wait for the next bigger jump in CPU architecture? Haha like i can hold out until 2019 and Icelake.
5775-c w/ 2400Mhz c-10 ram and you golden. just drop it in, too,.

But if more people filled in the data, we would have a better data sample. Right now in the owners list there's almost 75% FE owners, some aren't OC at all.
that doesnt account for the guys who only post in their respective threads, ie 'arus ti owners club', etc. they all have them.

I'll try that right now, and do a fresh install of AB as well after all the driver malarky is finished. Thanks!
no problem. we all learn the hard way.

Whelp.....

Order of Ops:
- Uninstalled eVGA PxOC
- Uninstalled MSI AB 4.4.0 Beta 6
- DDU drivers completely and restart
- CCleaner all files and registry (just in case)
- Installed fresh drivers from nVidia website
- NV Control Panel - change settings to 'Prefer Maximum Performance'
- Installed MSI AB 4.4.0 Beta 6 and setup
- Run Unigine Valley - same artificial V cap
- Follow instructions on Pg 1 to add vendor to .oem2 file (didn't exist when I opened it)
- Change to 'Third Party' voltage control in AB settings

Card hung around 1.000V the whole time. Intermittently, it would up to 1.012V or for a split second to 1.025V, but then immediately back down to 1.000V or even 0.993.

Now, I'm not concerned about the performance I'm getting AT ALL. Frames are good while gaming, which is what matters. I'm more concerned there may be something I have setup incorrectly, or with the voltage controller. The Temps all good for all runs, and I don't hit Temp Limit at all; just Power and Voltage limits.

Should I just chalk this up to Silicon Lottery and move on? Just can't figure why it would volt higher in PxOC than AB. thinking.gif

Thanks again! biggrin.gif

Been waiting since the 5th and finally got my waterblocks from ekwb so I can finally finish my build and install them on my 1080ti's....quick question though is there a certain RTV sealant that you have to use on circuits or can you use the clear RTV silicone adhesive sealant the general purpose one by permatex.
Here's what came in the mail today though smile.gif
