Just I still got my trusty 3770k @ 5Ghz I look deeply into those things..... as I said when the x299 chipset is released I be finally tempted to upgrade my old z77 MVE knowing that I will be also getting another GPU to actually warrant the CPU upgrade

yeah I do look at the GPU score separately and take no notice of CPU...... how did I imply I didn't?

All you have to do is open the curve and adjust a few bins, it just continues on fine tuning where you are at smile.gif

Managed to get a stable 1898 core clock at 0.900mv +720 mem, stable for hours and hours on Witcher 3! 190-220 watt power draw, no throttling, silent and stays under 65C under load biggrin.gif

Maybe I can push the core a bit more, I'll have to test when I'm done testing my CPU limits.

Okay tried this and clocks drop as low as 1974MHz now wth.gif clearly I'm not doing something wrong. Now this was in GoW4 in heaven 2063-2076MHz but didn't let it finish so I'm sure would have dropped sooner or later.

Nah, nothing wrong, its just dropping more than one bin, just raise the one at 1974 to 2000 as well and test. if it drops to a certain frequency, just see what that bin is and how many bins its dropped, usually tune it down to 1.000v and it should be pretty good.

Not sure it fits the case.
This only lasts for one second before displaying again, a signal interruption basically.
Driver didn't crashed

I'd still try it, can be a driver crash even if you don't get the error message.
