I don't understand why releases are handled in this manner. It's clear they've had the cards lying around for weeks.

I am one of those Newegg customers who ordered Friday with rush + overnight + Saturday delivery options with just the label created on Friday. I got an email from Newegg this morning with a shipping notification stating its has been shipped on 3/13. FedEx still only shows the label created still but that is normal until it actually goes somewhere. Of course with the snowstorm that is hitting my area tomorrow it probably means the rush shipment, Saturday delivery, AND overnight will have all been a huge waste of money. mad.gif

Replacing part of the oem2 line with ???????? gives me the voltage slider however it has no affect on the voltage readout when used.

Also>

GPU Tweak has voltage control slider - no affect when used
Precision XOC has voltage control slider - no affect when used.

Did something happen between review and release or have others had success with the voltage controls ?

I did use the afterburner profile config trick, I did see voltage increase by two bins. Sadly to no avail.

Without touching the voltage slider, I'm at 1.0620. With the slider at half I got 1.07x, and at full 1.08x.

However, this did not offer any extra OC room for me on the core. I have not seen 1.09-1.1, which may be what is required to hit higher core bins.

Since it had no effect for me, I left that extra voltage alone.

I'm sitting at 2062.5 core 12ghz memory at 1.050v - 1.062v 28-30c core temps with 19-21c room ambients. My voltage runs at 1.062 at anythithing over 29c. Below 29c the card will run 1.050v. I'm running liquid metal TIM on the die and an x41 AIO with Noctuas in push pull with the stock mid-plate and blower fan retained to cool the vrm along with the rest of the PCB. I'm also Shunt modded.

Hoping for a custom BIOS to explore higher boost bins but unless the card is cool, I doubt the card will ever pull those voltages.

I'd like to see if people with custom loop chillers can get to higher voltage states.

2075 core is almost stable for me at 1.08v but not quite. Would be nice to test 1.09-1.1 but it's just not there. At least not at ~30c

I just got off the phone with Newegg. No updates to tell me other than putting me on hold and saying they've sent an email to the warehouse. If tracking information isn't updated within two business days, they will file a missing package claim for a refund.

This is terrible

@SpartanJet you need to call for refund

I ordered an EVGA 1080 Ti from Newegg within the first 5 mins. I got the game code and tracking number within hours. However, my order is still marked as "shipping label created" with Purolator. No signs of it being shipped out yet sad-smiley-002.gif

The argument "Nvidia didn't make the Titan for gaming, rather for professional workloads" is a load of crap and always has been. Even the OG Titan was marketed as a "by gamers for gamers" card.

Nvidia is screwing everyone in price and they've been doing so for 5 years. There is no immorality in this per-se, as they have had zero high end competition from AMD and so they have behaved exactly as a company without competition behaves... By increasing their pricing as much as they can get away with.

The only thing I think is unethical that they've done is mislead consumers by labeling midrange chips as the x80 part (680, 980,1080) - a nomenclature which used to denote their high end chip.

But the blame for pricing is squarely on AMD for underperforming and being unable to compete.

Gaming/graphical workloads have their place in professional/business settings.
