I do and don't at the same time haha. My g1 gaming got 1480mhz but would top out at 70c while my 1080ti tops out at 52c and much better fps. 980ti was a beast and still a good card for sure

"Stopped User Cancelled" 1 second after I clicked ON button.
DX9 mode seems to work fine, but it only utilizes less than 1000MB of the vram.

It's because I have right now above average chip that can do 2012/2000mhz on air at max while my 980Ti Gaming G1 could do 1555 24/7 with 72C temp which was golden back in maxwell days.

So I still think higher of my 980Ti LOL biggrin.gifrolleyes.gif

kk I've dropped them a quick email to see if anyone is manning their email address under the contact page.
(Their forum is down for maintenance).

Might be a quick fix or a known issue.

I'll let you know when I hear back from them.

I'm ordering the following this month too: (but my hesitation is ruining my excitement) mad.gif

CPU:
i7 7700k (upgrade from a 2012 'AMD FX-8350')

Motherboard:
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Hero IX Z270 (upgrade from old 'Asrock 990FX Extreme9')

Hesitation: But I can't decide on the 16GB memory or the new GPU block for my 1080Ti FE.

argh it's doing my head in lol.

I grudge paying "nearly" the price of my CPU (and more than the cost of my mobo) for two 8gb sticks of bloody memory
  • absolute daylight robbery
  • memory companies should be ashamed!

same. i never got past that one. since i pretty well knew my best clocks pre artifacting, i just stopped trying, although i see it's helping others. my rams arent as great as my core.

are you getting the same error as Coopiklaani?

I just tried the EVGA OC Scanner. It never seems to find errors/artifacts.. then eventaully if I raise the mem o/c high enogh it'll just crash all-together.

I've emailed the OCCT team; to see if we can liase to get something sorted.

As the only working app capable of testing memory O/C's on modern GPU's it's in their vested intrest to see that these bugs are ironed out.

I pointed out that their app is now at the forefront of a thread with what will shortly be nearly half a millon views. so hopefuly I'll get someone competitent get back to me.

I'll keep you guys updated.

If you can provide anymore info on your system I could copy/paste and a quick list of what you've tried and when exactly the error occurs, I'll compile it together and forward it onto them. And then I'll push them for a timeframe.

Hope that helps, not much else I can do until I hear back from them.

Just PM me if its easier (and you can be bothered - lol)

But honestly; OCCT is fantastic. I find it so precise at finding max memory O/C. It's also clearly impacted by VRAM temps too.

Just need to get these bugs ironed out, so everyone can benefit.
