aye, I really don't have the patience to scroll through another 10 memory reviews discussing speeds and performance per dollar e.t.c (I know diminishing returns after 3000)....

But I also hearing a lot about the benefits of 3600+ for FPS when paired with a 1080TI.

And other one-liners about Samsung B die being more overclockable.
(recognising B-die isn't easy without ripping the heat-sink off the chip)

But there are "tell-tale" signs you can watch out for in the shops, for example a 3200 CS 14 kit are probably Samsung B Die.. a CS 16 kit probably isn't

However when you get to 3600++ (which is what I'm aiming for; I believe it becomes harder to make a safer educated assumption.)

It is easy cause its know which manufacturer uses what ;-)

basically all g.skill 3600mhz 16gb kits with cl 15 or cl 16 or cl 17 are samsung b-die for example

Is it wortj it to repaste a msi gaming x card? My temps are fine but im wondeting if i can get like a decrease of 10c? Temps stay in high 50s wigh occasional dip in 60-62

for Ryzen they are for sure (the Samsung-B being the magic sticks). not sure about on kaby.

Samsung B-Die was best for kaby before ryzen has even risen.
