Colorful's one is really good looking I must say.

Never heard of Manli though, but very creative and original name for their card lul.

Hopefully if ASUS hit their RMA targets in the last two quarters they'll release the BIOS.

Anyhow, I've asked if he'll send me the BIOS privately via PM. Waiting on a response.

I'll keep you all updated.

if I get my hands on it; it might be "share via PM only" but hopefully not.

Watch this space. And keep your fingers crossed.

Those passionate about O/C'ing may be in for a nice treat soon ;-)

Not making any promises. But my calls did get answered last round. So its looking 50/50.
You can find all the information about XOC bios (and overclock guide) from here: http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=169488&highlight=1080

Also asked if i can get that bios.thumb.gif

So we can re-paste no problem?
No idea how different brands, distributors are acting. rolleyes.gif
Just telling what happen to me. I removed the screw to apply Liquid metal and put it back, after the card burned was send back to MSI hub and I already have a replacement on the way...
I'm not going to suggest someone to do this...better to have the idea to make it on his own risk thumb.gif

But
I just can't get my head around DDR4 memory prices....

To make full use of my boards max memory capability, I'm looking at £250 (that's about $323 in U.S dollars) for a 4133 kit

(Bear in mind; I'm coming from an AM3+ AMD setup. Boards max mem speed is 2133Mhz (which often for 8gb is $50 on Ebay)

On some games using latest Nvidia GPU's I'm seeing up to 10+ FPS differences between 3000 Mhz DDR4 and 4000 Mhz DDR4.
.. but other games it's only 1/2 FPS

Anyone else been through this recently?

And here I am still sitting on my z77 and i7 3770k. This board isn't healthy. You all aren't aggravating my upgrade itch.

But wouldn't memory that fast affect your core clock? I would imagine it putting a lot of strain on the memory controller.

I'm trying to convince myself that I wouldn't notice a true difference because of my gsync monitor. 😀

Seems like this wouldn't be a good idea on air cooling though.

Unless there was a way to keep the temp limit on.
