Temps are great though with the EVGA hybrid cooler... 51C max so far when overclocked.

Not sure how some of you guys are getting no throttling - I get power throttled constantly at 120% power and stock volts.

Performance is ok-ish... Definitely not as fast as Titan XM SLI in SLI supported titles, but it feels good to be done with SLI

It was surprisingly easy to put on the hybrid cooler... No modifications needed and just took fifteen minutes

With 2000 or even 2080 on a 1093v voltage curve it'll throttle at 60C to 1981 consistently right away. Will have a waterblock for the card in a week or so and I'll post my results then. smile.gif

Is this what you are using?

I am using the 980 Ti AIO from EVGA that I had on my Titan XM. Didn't have to cut anything because I just ignored the half of the shroud near the I/O panel and left of off... It wouldn't really serve a purpose anyway. The part that's important is the shroud around the blower fan, which more or less fit fine.

I assume the same thing could be done with the 1080 AIO and you'd also get the option of cutting the shroud to fit, but I didn't want to spend the money when I didn't need to.

-edit- On the bright side, looks like my memory overclocks like a champ... +600 MHz looking like the sweet spot

Hope you guys are letting them know via social media or via their customer reps. Unacceptable for such a high priced item.

Not bad for just installing an hour ago. Thought +175 was a good start and it killed it. Might try +200 in a bit.

It does seem a bit on the high side. I have a 4930k (6-core) @ 4.5ghz hooked to a Kraken x62. It's in silent mode with the fans moving between 480 - 530 RPM. My current temp just browsing the web is ~35c.

+175, eh. i havent tried past +150 because i locked up in FFIV benchmark test at +160. wonder if it was a fluke. damn, i hate the process of discovering the "ceiling" on core clocks. At +150 i get exactly 2000 boost that settles in to 1987 in game.

In Battlefield One I was locked 60 FPS, never dipped, all ultra everything, taa, and all, in 4k. I slid the resolution slider up and it took up to 115% rez before it dropped to 57fps minimums. That's pretty filthy.
